Gait Analysis
-
Your first visit is all about getting the full picture — who you are as a person, a runner, and what’s holding you back or helping you move forward.
📝 We start with:
A deep-dive into your running and injury history
Your goals, training habits, and lifestyle
A comprehensive orthopedic assessment and movement screen
🎥 Then we assess your gait:
Slow-motion video analysis of your running form
Real-time objective data using Runeasi sensor technology
Integrated insights to help us understand how you move and why it matters
🧠 We wrap up with:
A clear breakdown of your results and what they mean for your body and goals
Time to review 1–2 starter exercises customized to your needs
Guidance on what your next steps could look like and follow up options….
➡️ See: What are my options after the Initial Evaluation? -
Every new client begins with an Initial Evaluation/Gait Analysis Appointment whether you’re dealing with injury, training for a race or just want a better understanding of your running form.
🩺 If you're dealing with injury or pain:
We'll recommend physical therapy follow-ups to address these issues directly and educate you on expected plan of care. Please see Physical Therapy FAQ Tab for more detail
Note: Any add-on packages are not a substitute for skilled, in-person PT when rehabbing an injury.🏋️ If you're not experiencing pain or injury you can follow up with 1-on-1 personal training sessions focused on:
Executing and progressing your personalized strength program
Cuing and form correction with a professional
Innovative, varied workouts that are fun and goal-driven
Posible implementation of gait retraining strategies
Supporting your goals in performance, longevity, and injury prevention
📦 If you're looking for programming only:
If you choose not to follow up in person, you’ll have the option to purchase from a few customized follow-up package options based on your needs and goals.
🔑 Please note: After your initial session, we may send 1–2 starter exercises to kick off your training or PT program. However, no additional programming, reports, communication or deliverables are included unless a package add-on is purchased.

Nope! You don’t have to get a report package if you are following up with us and we encourage most runners to follow up with us in some form, where we’ll work through your plan together in real time.
If you're doing physical therapy follow up with us:
You’ll receive a strength program that’s developed and progressed over the course of your care, not all at once during the initial evaluation. So there’s no need to purchase a package unless you want additional materials for your own reference.
If you're doing training sessions with us:
Know that training packages do not include take-home programming, so if you're someone who wants a written plan or workouts you can do independently, one of the report packages might be a great addition.
💡 And don’t worry, you don’t have to decide at the time of booking.
You can always add or remove a report package after your evaluation once you’ve had time to review your session and discuss your options with your provider. -
Our Initial Evaluation is 60 minutes and our Premier Gait Analysis is 75 minutes
-
Bring any pairs of running shoes you have and come ready to do 4-10 minutes of running on the treadmill. Preference for shorts but leggings ok. Try and wear different color top and bottom.
Otherwise, our space is fully stocked with towels, toiletries, and water.

We are an out-of-network (OON) provider, which means we don’t bill insurance directly — but many of our clients receive reimbursement through their OON benefits.
Here’s what that means for you:
Yes, our PT services are considered eligible for out-of-network reimbursement.
We will provide superbills that you can submit to your insurance company.
We cannot guarantee reimbursement, as it depends on your individual plan.
Why choose out-of-network care?
Our model may actually save you money in the long run. Here’s how:
1-on-1, 50-minute sessions mean we treat your whole body, not just the symptomatic area
We get to the root of the issue and help reduce your risk of future injury
No juggling multiple patients or rushed appointments. Just focused, personalized care
💳 What about payment?
You can use Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) to pay for treatment.
Even for patients who don’t receive insurance reimbursement, most still choose to pay out-of-pocket for our highly specialized, individualized care and HSA/FSA dollars are happily accepted for all services.
We’ve put together a helpful worksheet to guide you through checking your out-of-network benefits and the steps for submitting a claim.

Physical Therapy
-
We start with a detailed history & discussion of goals including your background as a person and runner. We'll perform a comprehensive orthopedic assessment/movement screen to evaluate your unique anatomy and pair that with a gait analysis for a complete picture of you as a runner.
We'll video you running in slo-mo for qualitative assessment while using our Runeasi software for objective reports.
Time will be spent discussing the findings, as well as our recommendations and expectations for your continued treatment.
We will reserve time at the end to review 1-2 exercises as possible.
-
You can expect to spend 50 minutes, one-on-one with the Doctor of Physical Therapy. Your treatment may include manual therapy techniques such as soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization and manipulation, as well as therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, strength training and gait retraining.
-
Each follow up session is 50 minutes.

Always come ready to exercise and possibly do a little running. Loose fitting clothing around the painful area is always helpful for possible treatment.
Otherwise, our space is fully stocked with towels, toiletries, and water.
