Gait Analysis
-
We have 2 options for initial assessment.
Initial Evaluation/Gait Analysis Option
Who is it for: Anyone coming to us dealing with an injury and seeking PT or non-injured and seeking to do some training sessions with us. We will summarize findings in full and discuss our plan for you.
For PT patients: We will then build out/update your home exercise routine as an ongoing part of your physical therapy care in subsequent visits
For those who start training membership: we will update a strength program for you every 6 weeks
For those who continue with training on a pack: does not include active updating of home program but we can discuss this with you during a future training session.
You will not receive the full package of gait videos, written summary and a strength program that day.
Who is it for: anyone who is confident they won’t be following up with us and therefore want us to send them the full report package on our recommendations and programming. OR someone who does want to follow up but still wants to nerd out on all that data and info.

We start with a detailed history & discussion of goals including your background as a person and runner. We'll perform a comprehensive orthopedic assessment/movement screen to evaluate your unique anatomy and pair that with a gait analysis for a complete picture of you as a runner.
We'll video you running in slo-mo for qualitative assessment while using our Runeasi software for objective reports.
Time will be spent discussing the findings, as well as our recommendations and expectations for your continued treatment.
We will reserve time at the end to review 1-2 exercises as possible.
For the premier option: you can expect to receive your videos, written summary, Runease reports and suggested strength plan within 1 week
For the intial evalution option: we will send you 1-2 exercises to start with and build out a plan in the next visit

Our Initial Evaluation is 60 minutes and our Premier Gait Analysis is 75 minutes

Bring any pairs of running shoes you have and come ready to do 4-10 minutes of running on the treadmill. Preference for shorts but leggings ok. Try and wear different color top and bottom.
Otherwise, our space is fully stocked with towels, toiletries, and water.

All of our PT services would be covered under any out-of-network (OON) coverage you may have. We will provide superbills upon request for you to submit to your insurance company. We cannot guarantee reimbursement
We put together this worksheet to help you better understand your out of network benefits, and how to get reimbursed.
When compared to in-network services, our out-of-network payment style can actually save money. As an out-of-network provider we are able to address the whole body in our 1-on-1,50 minute sessions rather than just the symptomatic zone. This allows us to get to the root of the injury as well as reduce the risk of future injury.
You can use your health savings accounts (HSA) and flex savings accounts (FSA) to pay for treatment.

Yes! Either option for our initial gait analysis can be the start of PT care and act as your intial evaluation for which we can provide a superbill

Yup! Even if you’re not injured, our gait analysis will provide lot of valuable insight to a strength program for you.
