After five years in the traditional healthcare system, Gabby founded The Run Rx to offer more personalized care and close the gap between rehab and lifelong performance for the modern athlete.
DR. MAGGIE MULLINS PT, OCS, CFSC
Maggie is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Board-Certified Orthopedic Specialist, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, and Run Coach. A Boston College alum and former Division I Track & Cross Country captain, she earned her DPT from UMass Lowell and completed an orthopedic residency at MGH Institute of Health Professions. Maggie brings a research-driven, collaborative, and runner-centered approach to everything she does — helping runners of all levels stay healthy, strong, and doing what they love.
When she’s not at The Run Rx, you’ll find her hanging out with her husband, family and friends. Her favorite things besides running include her cat Frankie, spending time in Cape Cod, New England Hazy IPA’s, and watching reruns of the Office and Schitt’s Creek.

Maggie’s passion for running and performance extends far beyond the clinic. During her time at MGH IHP, she developed and taught a continuing education course for her peers titled “Bone Stress Injury Prevention in Collegiate Distance Runners,” inspired by her own experience as a competitive runner and belief in the power of strength training.
She continues to compete post-collegiately with the Whirlaway Racing Team and has found a new love for marathoning. Maggie has also coached high school track & field and enjoys helping runners of all ages and experience levels reach their goals — from injury recovery to personal bests.
DR. JESS DANAHY PT, Pelvic Floor Level 1
Jess is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and certified Run Coach with expertise in gait analysis and pelvic health. She specializes in both orthopedic and pelvic floor conditions and holds advanced certification through the Herman & Wallace Institute. Jess earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a Pre-Medicine concentration from Framingham State before completing her DPT at Simmons University.
She’s especially passionate about helping active individuals, particularly pregnant and postpartum runners, stay strong, confident, and injury-free through all seasons of life. Jess completed a full-time clinical rotation in pelvic health and led the development of pelvic floor programs at two clinics. She regularly teaches workshops on pelvic health, running performance, and training theory.
When she’s not in the clinic or out for a run herself, you’ll find Jess exploring New England with her fiancé and goldendoodle, Koda. She loves curling up with a good book and visiting local breweries.
Her PR’s include: 5k (21:40), ½ marathon (1:38:55)
-
Jess’s background in competitive gymnastics and coaching laid the foundation for her movement expertise - but it was her love for running, sparked in college, that truly shaped her path. Since completing PT school, she has pursued advanced continuing education in running performance, pelvic health, and dry needling - and has personally shaved over 10 minutes off her half marathon PR.
She’s worked with active individuals of all ages, from youth athletes to older adults, and believes that great rehab, injury prevention, and performance care all share one foundation: a smart, strength-based approach rooted in evidence, empathy, and connection.
A self-described sponge for all things running-related, Jess brings that same energy and enthusiasm to every client she works with.
