She has worked with youth and professional athletes as well as “weekend warriors'' in injury prevention, rehabilitation and sports performance. Her knowledge and experience have been recognized in the International Journal of Sports Physical Therapy, where she published a successful case report on the application of the Selective Functional Movement Assessment for athletes. Gabby has undergone advanced training in manual therapy, spinal manipulation, dry needling, and pre and postnatal care. She has taught workshops to other healthcare providers, focusing on gait analysis for runners including at the prestigious Harvard Medical School Sports Medicine Conference.
After 5 years of practice in the traditional health care model, Gabby started The Run Rx to provide more personalized attention with clients and to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and staying active across the lifespan of the modern athlete.
When she's not at The Run Rx (or out for a run herself!), you'll find her enjoying quality time with her husband, son, and goldendoodle, Ziggy! She has a passion for all sports, especially her beloved Boston teams. She's a washed up basketball and soccer player but still loves to stay active including with snowboarding which she has been doing for 20 years! However, when she finally takes a moment to pause, nothing beats unwinding on a beautiful New England beach, with a great book and a cold IPA.

During her residency and the MGH IHP, Maggie designed a course - “Bone Stress Injury Prevention in Collegiate Distance Runners” for her peers which included the importance of strength training for runners based on her experience as a collegiate athlete. Maggie currently competes with the Whirlaway Racing Team and has found a new joy in marathoning in her post-collegiate running career. She has experience coaching high school level track and field and enjoys working with runners and athletes of all levels and abilities.
When she's not at The Run Rx, you'll often find her with her husband, family and friends! Her favorite things include running, her cat Frankie, spending time in Cape Cod, New England Hazy IPA’s, and watching reruns of the Office and Schitt’s Creek.

Growing up, Elise’s main sport focuses were field hockey and tennis, but once in college she picked up distance running for recreation and wellness. She quickly caught the “running bug,” and over the years progressed to more competitive road racing. Inspired by her passion for running, Elise shifted to an orthopedic setting at the Spaulding National Running Center where detailed gait analysis and in-house research guided her treatment and re-training of runners at all levels. She has guest lectured to PT students and co-presented at conferences on the use of metronome in gait training following brain injury- a tool that she also applies to gait retraining runners!
Elise is also a certified run coach and has run 9 marathons, including one Ironman. She currently competes for the Greater Boston Track Club and enjoys all road distances! When she’s not at the Run RX or out on a run, you can catch Elise spending time with her fiance, friends, and energetic pup Izzy! Her favorite things include weekend trips, live music, runs with Izzy (Izzy’s 5k PR is sub 22 minutes!), and a big burger with fries after a long run.

While Chris is no stranger to sports related injuries, the biggest impact on his own health has come from an autoimmune disease called ankylosing spondylitis (AS). Among other issues, AS causes significant pain and swelling at joints throughout the body. For Chris, this primarily impacted his knees, ankles, and feet until he was able to find a medication to manage this condition. Because of this experience, Chris has been a committed advocate for patients and clients dealing with similar issues.
When he isn’t at the Run Rx or training, you can find Chris cheering on the Bruins, golfing, or catching live comedy and music with friends.
