Our team of running physical therapists in Somerville live and run all around Boston and beyond. Our staff lives or has lived in Somerville, Charlestown, Southie, Medford, Allston/Brighton and even north of the city in the Andovers. Castle Island Route - South Boston
Distance: 2.33 mi
Elevation Gain: 72 ft
A simple, short, and scenic Boston route along the water
Great in isolation or stacking reps for a long run or speed workout
Castle Island - UMass Boston
Distance: 8.8 mi
Elevation Gain: 198 ft
A beautiful extended Boston run on the water- flat and well paved, can get windy!
Somerville & Surrounding
Davis Sq to Charles River 10K
Distance: 6.2 mi
Elevation Gain: 31 ft
Flat 10k that is a mix between an out and back and a loop!
Davis Sq to Charlestown Hills
Distance: 8.2 mi
Elevation Gain: 359 ft
A hilly 8+ miler from Somerville into Charlestown and back!
Allston/Brighton
Herter Park Loop
Distance: 2.6 mi
Elevation Gain: 22ft
Great for Tempo Runs!
This ~2.6 mile loop is essentially the course of the Charles River Marathon.
Flat and fast, great for tempos!
Boston Proper
Esplanade 4 Miler
Distance: 4 mi

A quintessential Boston loop around the scenic Charles river!
Tour of Boston

A rolling route that takes you through the Back Bay, Public Garden, Boston Common, Esplanade, and Waterfront
